The Newmarket Business Association has been delighted with the installation of 50 Smokin Stations throughout our premier retailing and commercial district late in 2006.
Amazingly, the 50 dispensers are collecting approximately 15,000 butts each week.
Smokin Stations have made a real difference to Newmarket's tidiness and we have been equally impressed with its Director Simon Johnston who has shown a real 'can do' attitude.
Simon has worked positively with the business association, the Auckland City Council, Keep NZ Beautiful, and many individual Newmarket businesses who in turn have responded very positively to the project.
I thoroughly recommend that other businesses, local authorities, and business districts consider working with Smokin Station. As New Zealand's leading shopping district, Newmarket is more than satisfied with the results.
